Lunch with a non-vegan friend

VeganMoFo 2015 – Day 14: Share something vegan with a non-vegan.
Today I had lunch at Fruits and Roots (www.fruitsandroots.co.za), a local vegetarian cafe and health store, with a friend and colleague Kelly (@underanafricansun). Kelly has been a vegetarian since 1991. Almost overnight she decided to stop eating meat because she just didn’t like the idea of eating animals. She’s originally from the USA and lived in France for many years before moving to South Africa just less than 2 years ago. Kelly loves the natural beauty and wildlife in South Africa and it’s one of the reasons that brought her and her partner here. She has a passion for photography and along with her awesome Instagram account (@underanafricansun) she has a great blog (underanafricansun.wordpress.com).
My lunch was a lovely spicy tofu salad, with lots of greens and avocado. The juice is a mind mender with carrot, pineapple, ginger, ginseng and gingko.

Kelly had the Chickpea wrap that looked equally as yummy.
